The light energy cell consists of 275 rows of amorphous silicon strips at 6 microns in width and 94 microns apart, comparing to average human hair of 100 microns in width. As a result, it is virtually invisible to naked eye. While the amount of electricity generated by this new type of light energy cell is not enough to power other models.
